The EU-Japan Center for Industrial Cooperation has launched the 2021/2022 edition of the "Vulcanus in Japan" program.

This program offers European students enrolled in engineering courses, high-tech or other courses in scientific fields, the opportunity to do an 8-month internship in a Japanese company. The internship is preceded by an intensive Japanese course (held in English) lasting 4 months.
The program will take place entirely in Japan, from September 2021 to August 2022.

Students enrolled in the first year of a two-year master's degree course or in the fourth year of a single-cycle course, and PhD students within the penultimate year of study can participate.

The selected students receive a scholarship of 1,900,000 yen to cover travel and subsistence expenses in Japan. The accommodation is made available by the host company for twelve months.
