W. J. T. Mitchell classes inaugurate PhD Course in Visual Culture
From Thursday 20 to Friday 21, October 2022, to greet the start of the PhD in Visual Culture, the Department "Culture e Società" and the University of Palermo propose a series of events.
Special guests, who will be both in Palermo for the occasion, W. J. T. Mitchell, Gaylord Donnelley Distinguished Service Professor of English and Art History at the Università of Chicago e Senior Editor of the academic journal Critical Inquiry, of which the event features a master's lecture and a workshop, and Janice Misurell-Mitchell, composer, flutist, performance artist and teacher at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, who will take a concert and a video performance.
