Internship and final experimental thesis
Students enrolled during the 2022-23 academic year
Students can request to start the first internship of the second year of the Degree Course by 30 September 2023. The internship will take place according to the rules of AlmaLaurea and can be carried out in a laboratory other than the one in which the experiments are to be carried out. thesis. Internships and thesis period are two different things, even if they can overlap. Internships are counted in hours, thesis period in months with no requirement of total hours.
This is the internship request form, which must be sent to neuroscience@unipa.it and addressed to the Degree Course Coordinator. After the approval of the Coordinator or of the Council, the student can start the AlmaLaurea practice with the help of the teaching secretariat of the BIND Department. Contact Mrs. Callari or Basile. Only after approval by AlmaLaurea can the internship begin.
During the internship, a register must be filled in which shows the hours worked and where the company tutor's signature is present. At the end of the internship, the register with the hours and signatures is sent to the Coordinator on the AlmaLaurea website, again via the email neuroscience@unipa.it for the validation of the 7 credits of the internship.
For each internship a company tutor and a teaching tutor must be identified, the latter is always a teacher who teaches the Neuroscience course.

AT THE END OF THE PERIOD OF INTERNSHIP THE STUDENT MUST SEND A REQUEST TO THE COORDINATOR OF NEUROSCIENCE, TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS NEUROSCIENCE@UNIPA.IT, OF APPROVAL OF THE 7 CREDITS ATTRIBUTED TO THE PERIOD OF INTERNSHIP.
