La EAS Conference rappresenta il luogo d'incontro annuale degli esperti internazionali per discutere e condividere le politiche, le pratiche, le ricerche e le iniziative a sostegno della compatibilità tra sport e carriera accademica/lavorativa (ad esempio, la doppia carriera) degli sportivi, attraverso interventi, workshop e tavole rotonde sugli aspetti rilevanti della doppia carriera. L'edizione di quest'anno, tenutasi a Gaeta dal 2 ottobre al 4 ottobre 2023, ha visto la presenza di una delegazione UNIPA che ha presentato due contributi e condotto un workshop sul progetto TALENT, Clouds Based Education for Sports Creative Talent - Erasmus +. Gli interventi presentati alla conferenza, a cura della dott.ssa Martina Albanese e del dott. Domenico Vicari, hanno riguardato rispettivamente i seguenti argomenti: “Desk research to analyse dual career programmes in Italy: the validation process of the Desk Research tools”; “How to support the sports activity of the Student-Athletes? Analysis of dual career programs in Italy”. Il workshop, invece, ha avuto l’obiettivo di rilevare il parere degli esperti sugli standard individuati dal consorzio europeo sul riconoscimento dei giovani di talento. Il prof. Antonino Bianco, coordinatore del progetto Talent, ha supervisionato gli interventi e il workshop. L'occasione è stata utile per scambiare opinioni con esperti nel campo della doppia carriera provenienti da tutto il mondo. Prossima tappa: "Road to Athens" nel novembre 2023 per condividere i risultati sull'identificazione degli STANDARD per il riconoscimento dei giovani di talento.

The EAS Conference represents the annual meeting point for international experts to discuss and share policies, researches and initiatives to support the compatibility of sport and academic/work careers (e.g., dual career) of the sportspersons, including lectures, workshops, and round tables on relevant aspects of dual career. This year's edition, held in Gaeta from 2 October to 4 October 2023, included the presence of a UNIPA delegation that presented two speeches and conducted a workshop on the TALENT project Clouds Based Education for Sports Creative Talent - Erasmus +. The papers presented at the conference, by Dr. Martina Albanese and Dr. Domenico Vicari, dealt respectively with the following topics: "Desk research to analyse dual career programmes in Italy: the validation process of the Desk Research tools"; "How to support the sports activity of the Student-Athletes? Analysis of dual career programmes in Italy'. The workshop, on the other hand, aimed to survey the experts' opinion on the standards identified by the European consortium on the recognition of talented young people. Prof. Antonino Bianco, coordinator of the Talent project, supervised the speeches and the workshop. The occasion was useful to exchange views with experts in the field of dual careers from all over the world.

Next steps: "Road to Athens" in November 2023 to share results on the identification of STANDARDS for the recognition of talented young people.
