Marco Capodici was born in Palermo; he graduated in “Environmental Engineering” in the Academic Year 2004/2005. He’s now PhD at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Aeronautic Engineering of Palermo University. His research field concerns the bioremediation of groundwater contaminated by nitrates referring in particular to the design and application of Permeable Reactive Barriers technology. He also works in the field of respirometric characterization of wastewater, MBR system for wastewater treatment, evaluation of biomass activity and measurements of uncontrolled methane emissions from sanitary landfills for Municipal Solid Waste and biological treatment of landfill leachate.
