This section hosts the disciplines dealing with description, interpretation and design of human settlements and of their development – ranging from old centres to wide metropolitan areas, from territory to landscape.  The section’s research topics span from themes related to historic towns, cities and territories to multiethnicity, to tourism, to enhancement of monuments and sites, to road and transportation design, to estimative and economic side of thematic and cartographic description.
