PRAGMASOPHIA
FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
IN PRAGMATICS AND PHILOSOPHY
Pragmasophia, the First International Conference in Pragmatics and Philosophy, is going to be held at the University of Palermo on the following dates:
16-19th May 2016 at the “STERI”, (Piazza Marina, 61, Palermo).
The main issue of the conference is the interface between pragmatics and philosophy. The purpose of the conference is to allow philosophers and linguists to meet in order to discuss in what ways philosophy could contribute to (pragma)linguistics and in what ways pragmatics could contribute to philosophy.
The conference is sponsored jointly by the University of Palermo and by Springer. The proceedings will be submitted to the series Perspectives in Pragmatics, Philosophy, Psychology directed by the chief editor Professor Alessandro Capone.
