Educational objectives – professional opportunities for graduates
In accordance with EEC directive 85/432, the Degree Course provides students with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to work as a Pharmacist.
The professional practice should be carried out within a public or hospital pharmacy for at least six months, the specified number of hours of experience corresponds to 750 hours (30 credits).
Graduate pharmacists will be able to carry out their activity as healthcare professionals with multidisciplinary scientific competences as to the chemical, biological, and pharmaceutical, toxicological and technological aspects in accordance with the objectives of the National Healthcare System.
Some examples of career destinations are:
- Pharmacists and similar healthcare professionals;
- Researchers and professional technicians in chemical and pharmaceutical sciences;
- Consultant chemists.
