Urban, Regional and Environmental Planning is a Master Degree Course (also known in Italy as 2nd Cycle Degree). It is the natural follow-up for the Town Planning and Urban Studies Bachelor programme (L-21), but it can also be accessed from other degree courses after verifying the skills and competences of incoming students. The Master Degree in Urban, Regional and Environmental Planning trains experts in urban design and sustainable development of territories.
The territorial planners will undergo a range of training, from the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage, the protection of ecosystem balance, to urban regeneration to smart cities planning.
Graduates have the opportunity to learn about technical management activities, including evaluation, strategy and feasibility of urban and territorial plans and projects.
Graduates are the reference figures for policies and projects of urban and territorial transformation, acting as mediators between the political sphere, social dynamics and territorial realities.
