In autumn 2015, the Università degli Studi di Palermo and the Université Gustave Eiffel, formerly Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée, signed an integrated study program aimed at issuing a double degree, based on general principles of reciprocity and recognition of the respective training paths. This agreement allows students to carry out a part of their university career at the University of Palermo and a part at the Université Gustave Eiffel, obtaining at the end of the course the release of the Laurea Magistrale in Informatica from the Università degli Studi di Palermo and the Master d'Informatique from the Université Gustave Eiffel.

This agreement was renewed in summer 2020, signed by the Rector of the Università degli Studi di Palermo and the President of the Université Gustave Eiffel, accompanied by the correspondence table: 

 Convention pour le double titre de Master/Accordo Doppio Titolo Laurea Magistrale 

This integrated study program was one of the three selected in Italy by the Università franco-italiana in the context of the 2016 Vinci Award, with a loan of 30,000 euros for three years, and in the context of the 2019 Vinci Award, with a loan of 22,500 euros for three years. This funding contributes to the mobility, in both directions, of the students participating in this program.
