Graduated in Civil Engineering Transport (1990), at the University of Palermo

Ph.D. in Science and Economics of Transportation at the Institute of Transport of the same university.

Associate Professor of Technology and Economics of Transportation, author of numerous publications on national and international scientific journals, book chapters, conference proceedings.

He focuses his research on transportation planning, even on microsimulation models and innovative instruments for the monitoring and control of road traffic, as well as on issues related to the mobility of freight and logistics.

His activities include PhD tutoring, also in collaboration with national and international research organizations.
