Since 1995 Dr. Miceli has studied vegetable and ornamental crops cultivation both in open field and under protected cultivation.
In particular, he has conducted researches on:

Strawberry production

Garlic breeding and cultivation

Rosa management under protected cultivation

Vegetable crop management with low environmental impact

Vegetable crop in soilless culture

Vegetable cultivation in saline environment

Nitogen fertilization in leafy vegetable crops

Quality of raw and minimally processed vegetable

Hygenic safety of vegetables

Post-harvest treatments enhancing vegetables shelf life

more than 60 research papers, and popular press articles concerning vegetable and ornamental crops both in open field and under protected cultivation.
