The 9th EurOMA Summer School will be hosted by the Department of Engineering of the University of Palermo, with a special focus on “OSCM 4.0”. This theme will aim at stimulating a deep and serious consideration of the challenges of OSCM research in the new era of Industry 4.0, Service 4.0, Health 4.0, etc. The digitalization of business and administrative processes, the IoT, cloud computing, block-chain, big data, advanced data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence are transforming the way in which operations and operations management are designed and deployed. The Summer School is targeted at PhD students and young researchers in Operations and Supply Chain Management from all over the world.
